The University of 猫咪社区官网 Board of Regents appointed Pat Pitney as the 猫咪社区官网 system鈥檚
17th president on Feb. 25, 2022. She served as interim president since Aug.1, 2020.
Previously Pitney served as the state鈥檚 Director of the Division of Legislative Finance. She was the former Vice Chancellor of Administration, University of 猫咪社区官网 Fairbanks and worked at UA Statewide for 17 years. In all, Pitney spent 23 years with the University of 猫咪社区官网 before leaving to serve as the State Budget Director in the administration of former Governor Bill Walker.
