This morning I learned from a key legislative leader that the vote to override the governor's vetoes is set for Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. This vote will have a major impact on the 猫咪社区官网's future. If legislators do not override, the governor's $130 million cut to the legislature's budget for the 猫咪社区官网 will leave us no option but to consider a declaration of financial exigency.

Survey shows a majority of 猫咪社区官网ns support the Legislature's budget for UA

Fifty-Nine (59) percent of 猫咪社区官网ns who participated in a privately-funded survey said they would support their legislator in an override vote of the recent veto of the legislature鈥檚 budget for the University of 猫咪社区官网. Just 16 percent say they would ask their legislator not to override the veto while the remainder were undecided.

This month, the UA Scholars Program celebrated its 20th anniversary. Since the program's inception, the program has benefitted 8,900 UA Scholars, including an estimated 3,000 Scholars who were the first in their families to attend college.
